Prevent Child Abuse Arizona is the leading voice in advocating for the well-being of Arizona’s children through the prevention of child abuse and neglect. By providing training to community professionals and implementing research-based prevention services statewide, PCA Arizona works to assure parents have the support and information they need to keep children safe and healthy.

PCA Arizona is a state chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, part of a national network of 50 prevention organizations that make a difference locally as well as nationally with evidence-based initiatives such as the signature Healthy Families America early childhood home visiting program.

Prevent Child Abuse Arizona is heading into a time of transition with the Founding Executive Director retiring in late 2019. The Board of Directors is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to help us with strategic planning in 2018-2019 as we prepare for this transition. We anticipate engaging in a plan process to guide the recruitment and hiring of a new executive director, and to assure the successful future of our organization.

The Board of Directors believes it is a good time involve our many community stakeholders in this process and will be looking for creative ways to engage many voices. This would include at a minimum input from staff, volunteers, donors, funders, community partners, and local, state and national partners.

Please submit a proposal with a proposed scope of work, timeline and costs for a 12-month consulting contract on or before close of business on October 5, 2018 to pcaazhr@pcaaz.org. Please include contact information for several references who are familiar with your work in similar contexts.
