Welcome to Prevent Child Abuse Arizona
Prevent Child Abuse Arizona is a chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. We are a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent the abuse and neglect of Arizona's children. Our work strengthens families so that costly legal and social intervention is not needed. We focus strategically on new parents, early in the family life cycle. Our objective is to reach all parents of newborns with research-based services so they can succeed in keeping their children safe and healthy.
Approximately 100,000 babies are born in Arizona each year, over half of whom are at-risk for poor developmental outcomes including abuse and neglect. Since 1989, PCA Arizona has been a leader in bringing research-based, prevention services to communities throughout Arizona.
